I have now got access to the Sony A58 cameras, with a 18-55mm lens. I have got these lands because they stabilise in their bodies, and due to their anti-aliasing with bionz x processor, the camera and ISO is very fast. The fastest processor for the cameras.
When you set the camera to the film reel, you need to set it to M (manual). Do not set it to M on the main body, because that setting is for cameras, which means that it is calibrated differently to when you film.
The twirly knob on the front of the camera is for brightness. The lower the number it is on, the darker it is. So when i'm inside, it needs to be between 1/30 and 1/50. When outside, the number needs to be higher.
There is a symbol on the camera that looks like a square ying, yang. This affects the aptiture. When you press the button and twist the twirly knob the light that the lens allows in changes. Lower the number means that the background becomes more blurry. Higher the number means crisper the image. If the camera is zoomed in, you can't go to the lowest number on the aptiture.
The ISO button gets rid of the gains when you film in the dark. The camera should be set for 100 in a well lit room. It should not be set above 200 for a dark room.
There are cool effects that can be done with the camera. The setting that looks like an art pallet does photo effects. These effects stay on when filming. The partial colour button only picks up on vivid colours.

I now have access to new cameras. With those new cameras, I played around by filming this little video. While filming, I could now play with the focus of the camera (Which is demonstrated in the video) and the brightness.
The plot of the video is that a killer has killed a student and that she keeps remembering that student. To make up for the death, she keeps killing more people, but she ends up feeling guilty and kills herself.
